Wanderer
Roads do not only exist between places. There are roads—passageways, and alleys, and sea routes, and forest paths, the entire category of walkables—between who you were yesterday and who you are today, between the boy in the kindergarten and the man building his first house, between you who just learned how to turn on a PC and you who can design and program an entire videogame all on your own. There are roads, although hazier ones, leading into the realm of your dreams. For each and every one of us, there is a road that stretches beyond the day we die.
Many people treat roads like a burden. They stuff it with books, games, podcasts, and idle chatter. We all do clog our roads with garbage thoughts. But there is a whole multitude of new, unknown worlds in opening up to the road you’re walking. If you look past the common, familiar shapes you’ve got so used to, you will see that there’s a vastness, an incredible expanse beyond your wildest imagination.
First step? Stop thinking. Stop thinking that much.
